The Argentum Ring is made out of Tungsten Carbide which comprises of 85% tungsten and 15% nickel, which is ideal for durability and scratch resistance. Tungsten carbide is one of the heaviest metals and extremely hard, ranking about 9 to 9.5 on the Mohs scale of hardness. The hardest substance on earth, a diamond, is rated at 10 mohs. The word tungsten directly translates from the Swedish term, tung sten meaning "heavy stone."
